By default all payments for“booking fees” – and any “additional services” – when booking through our website are made through the wetravel.com platform.. This platform allows us to easily and securely handle advance payments of programs through credit cards, especially facilitating refunds and modifications to reservations and their values, which in case of occurrence allows us to quickly and efficiently reimburse the total amount paid. However, there is a service fee, which varies depending on the payment method and currency, and is informed at the time of payment.
For the payment of the difference can be made automatically by credit card through wetravel.com, however we also accept cash payments (CLP, USD, EUR), online bank transfer in Chilean pesos, euros, or US dollars (request transfer details by email), and payment links with card providers for residents in Chile (webpay.cl; klap.cl), just let us know by email once the reservation is confirmed and we will send you the details.
Important: the total cost of the program must be paid in full before its start date!
- Exchange rate, if payment is made by credit card, the amount to be paid must be entered in Chilean pesos and the exchange rate to be used will be the one defined by the suppliers of such cards. For cash payments and/or online bank transfers, program prices in EUR or USD are based on the exchange rate observed at the time of payment minus twenty-five Chilean pesos. As an example: if the observed change is 1 USD – 800 CLP, the change to be used will be 1 USD –>> 775 CLP.
The exchange rate to be used can be consulted at the following links:
- Payment in cash, can be made up to the same day of the start of the program directly to the guides in CLP, USD, and/or EUR.
- Payment by electronic transfermust be made before the start of the program. Request the transfer information by replying to the same email you sent when making the reservation. The exchange rate must be calculated at the time of payment as indicated in the “Exchange Rate” section of this document.
- If other payment gateways for bank cards are enabled on our website, these will be found on the page of each service. Also for payments by credit or debit cards of residents in Chile it is possible to request the option of using “Webpay” or “Klap”, this must be done before the start of the program and exclusively remotely on our website.
Important: In any of the above-mentioned options the payment must be made ONLY in Chilean pesos (CLP) without points or digits, for example: to make a payment of $220.000 CLP, you must enter 220000!
